The failure in that post by the BOD (whomever that is) is strong. So much of that is flat out wrong and not compliant with the bylaws or the Illinois nonprofit act. Yet, does Mofib even have any voting members left?

The articles or incorporation may have restrictions as well as the Bylaws. I cannot remember for certain.

Just an FYI - when a non-profit dissolves it generally MUST donate any assets that remain to a non-profit. Most states require it to be a similar non-profit within the same state, I'm not sure about Illinois. Thus, giving the assets, any or all, to Luis would be illegal, and Luis receiving...

Did you see this? http://www.mofibinternational.com/ It appears a new coup and attempt to misappropriate the assets of Mofib is well underway. Interesting names that are being dropped on this new webpage. Is this some form of attempt of SPK or others to take the website away from the members?
