Aqua globe sucks after 3 months of use the housing cracked and rust was seen coming from the housing . Contacted them to see about replacement and was told to buy a new one . absolutely NO customer service . would not recommend them to any one .no contact number to be found emails were not...
Depends on what your doing with the tank.... By that I mean is it going to be a reef? if so you could get away with about 21-22 LBS as the rest will come when you get corals which is usually attached to LR ... If you are going with FOWLR you will want the full 24 LBS.. Another thing to look at...

It has no disernable shell that I can tell I found it on the filter intake .
It moves quite fast . it looks to have hairs extending from the back . what a major pain to get this booger out .help :roll:

I have heard that they tend to "stick" on and are not reliable . I do NOT have first hand experience on this but can say ..its not worth it . I would recommend these heaters I used this on my MB7 and on my 2.5 and now my 10 they work great . I would recommend these and they are not to steep in...
We just add their food 1x a week with the filter off for about a 1/2 hour then turn it back on , I dont run a skimmer but would say turn it off for a bit to allow them to get the food . I also squirt some in their direction to aid in there getting food :D
