The sump will be a skimmer and a refugium.
My goal is to have just the basic good amount of flow threw the sump. I was thinking like 750 max gph for it. I dont mind a lighter flow on the return cause ill use a pump for circulation.

was thinking a mag7 or a small scale quiet1 , if i went for the inside sump.
But i hear that inside sump pumps add more heat then out of sump applications. I do not want my pump to add heat to my system or if any a small or a minimal amount.
What do u guys think?

The more i look around this site and read the , more i feel i should get a smaller pump for my sump/refugium and use my little giant on a closed loop for circulation.
Soon i will be setting up my fowlr 75g.
I already have a Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC pump. it will do 1080gph @6 feet of head.
