Checking out the tank today and found some tiny yellowish "things" crawling all over my acro's. They remind me of aphids on plants but yellow/orange in color. Should I be concerned about these and what can I do to remove them? I do not have a digital camera so no pics, and they are way too small...
Makes me want to go buy some flippers right now!!!!!!!!! I went to Hawaii 2 times and never left the water. Diving must be way better than just snorkeling like I did. The trip to Hawaii was what spurred the reef tank I have now. Sweet pics!!!!!
Ditto on the rubber piece at the top of the overflow for the AGA. I just removed mine and saw a big difference in water level. I had the tank for 1 year or so before I figured out the damn trick.
My tangs would eat my finger if I put it in long enough. I never had any problems feeding them. (yellow, sailfin and a purple) I have never tried feeding brocolli, is there a need to pre cook or just throw it in??
I got some feedback for ya. The skimmer is a good unit if used with the right pump. Go with the recommended pumps and you should be fine. Make sure to ask for the plumbing kit to go with it, all the pictures show it but it doesn't come with it. I've no problems with it and would recommend it to...
I wish you could say that about the flame angel. I didnt have much luck with them. One did get eaten by a crab, but thats beside the point!! Beautiful fish anyway.....
