I have tryed a similar product. It does make sense the body does works to lay down bone the same way that coral does. I worked in the hospital and when they needed a piece of bone replacement they use a product made of coral, our bone grows around it and fills it in. Just something to think...

I have a 100 gal with a bulit in sump. I also have another 40 gal. How could I connect the two together? I want to use the 40gal for a refugium. What kind of equipment would I need so I would not get overflow if there a power loss?

I have three of them in my reef thank. They do graze on the alge , that the good part. They also graze on my button polpys. But they don't bother any of the other coral in my tank. They all school together. And It's worth it to me to have a few small loses. Its all in what you like>
