Essentially, buy the biggest one you can afford. It will make a given volume of product water faster - e.g., whereas a 100 gpd unit will make 50 gallons of water in ~12 hrs, it will take ~24hrs for the 50 gpd unit to do the same work. This fact isn't fully appreciated until your tank crashes...

OMG - if that isn't a perfect description of my pink-tailed trigger! :lol: Biggest fish in the tank - and afraid of everything.

I'd be concerned about the maximum switching current rating of 0.6A. The pump/powerhead you connect to the switch would have to draw no more than that. Compare the similarly-styled Ultralife float switch, which can handle 10A. Just my $0.02. :wink:

Ditto the nori comment. I buy mine in large quantity here: http://store.yahoo.com/tayabas/nfsp.html I cut the original sheets in half, roll up the half-sheet, and rubber band it to a small rock each morning. Works like a charm and my PBT loves it. Good luck! :)
