It's saver to change the stock light to LED to lower the temperature and/or set an additional temperature controller to shut down the heater when it's too hot.

I am working on that after the new year controler and LEDs. Just not sure witch ones yet.

looks good, I answered on my thread about the PRO's. 2 are okay in a BC14 for SPS as long as you place the coral high. You will need to keep the stock reflector in order to attach the PRO on the right side. And most likely you will still need to run the fans as the LED's run hot.

Are you acclimating your tank to the new lights?

Not really I should be shouldn't i.
They have only been on for 2 hours, i should lower my dimmers. What levels do you think i should put them at?

Aiyaiyai.

Several ways of doing this. Do what works best for your schedule:
Say you have your lights on for a total of 10 hours per day and that dimmer has imaginary 10 levels, 10 being the max.

Day 1: 3 hours level 5
Day 2: 3.5 hours level 5
Day 3: 4 hours level 5
and so on till you reach your 10 hours. Then

Day 1&2: level 6 for 10 hours
Day 3&4: level 7
Day 5&6: level 8
and so on

The reason acclimation is necessary is because corals can bleach, get PO, die, hide, retract with a sudden change.

I just had mine installed last last month. I got one PRO - 12K/blue and one stunner 453/magenta.

I ended up getting another stunner - just the 453. All the corals just pop.

which colors did you get?

I got ecoxotics Panorama pro one 10k/royal blue and the other royal blue/magenta.

My sister is a photographer so she's gonna come by and take some nice pictures for me. My phone really don't do it justice.
