12Gl Diy Led Help

Ok so id like to upgrade my 12 Gallon Nano Cube Dx Hood, and place some LED's in their id like to stay under 250 and i herd thats very do able.
Does anyone Have a wright up or a kit that they have bought? I was told 12 leds would be sufficent id like to be able to dim between blue and white.

If anyone has any ideas let me know Thanks for looking!

here's what I did. I also used a different power supply for the fans so I didn't have to keep the stock ballast plugged in.
