I got it from Vivid Aquariums in Cali. They have pretty nice stuff... try not to select anything that can be pre-ordered cause chances are they won't be getting it in.

This weekend was a pretty rough one.
On Friday night i noticed my bicolor hammer(single head 3") was retracted, melting, and polyps seemed to be falling off. It seems that the frogspawn i placed it near was giving it a beating when i wasn't home. I took the hammer and gave it a couple of dips on Saturday to remove any damage. I did my normal water change for the week and replaced my purigen.
Yesterday, my purple hammer and wall frogspawn were not looking too hot. I proceeded to give my bicolor another dip and more polyps started to fall off but this time there was a bit of brown jelly coming from it. I was able to siphon most of it and gave a few more dips through out the day. I did another water change, changed the chempure and dipped my other LPS in Seachem and vitamin C. I lightly dosed my tank with vitamin c and coral amino. I plan to do another dip tonight.

Should i just remove the damaged hammer and cut my loses? Any advice would be appreciated.

Also last night my black ice clown decided to take a leap of faith... found him behind the tank. RIP

Sad to hear about the clown and hammers.
I've had similar experience with hammers before but I think the specimen I got was already not good to begin with. When the polyps started falling out it just went downhill.
Might be better to cut the damaged heads off and keep the good looking ones.

Its been bumming me out this week. Had to get rid of the hammer on monday after seeing more polyps being ejected. Then I did a dip last night and my first frogspawn was losing its hair so i had to chuck him. Hopefully the rest of my tank will make it.

Nano tanks - not easy.

I've been battling problems for 7 months lmao.

Running skimmer, gfo, weekly 25% water changed, carbon, and still problems

They are a whole different animal compared to regular systems.

It sucks when you have a beautiful system and then you start losing stuff with no immediate apparent reason.
Apart from the expense of the corals/fish etc...its more devastating watching them die..imo
