Hi reefers,

This is my first go at a saltwater tank coral tank

IM 16g Nuvo
Stock lighting: 2 LED 14000k fixtures w/ moonlighting
Stock pump
Hydor Koralia Nano 425 = just got it today will add soon
Ehiem 50w heater

Filter media:
Chemi Pure
filter pads
Will add Seachem Purigen soon when its delievered

bio media :
20lbs live Sand
17Lbs live rock

I built the stand since I though it was crazy to pay anything over $100 for a piece of wood. I might be adding doors and side panels soon to this.

Setup in my queens APT...I wish I still lived in atlanta where my apt was huge :/

Live rock added and water cleared up.

Moonlights testing

Do you guys think there is too much live rock in the tank? 17lbs

suggestions and help is great appreciated. :splitspin

nice set up...but imo i think 17 LBS is enough for your tank. You don't wanna get the tank with a lot of rock work especially that size tank. Reason why i say is due to the fact later on your going to be catching some fish you don't want no more or is bullying another fish in your tank. Best of luck with your new set up buddy keep us updated =)
