What are everyone's thoughts on these lights?

Right now I am using the PC's that came with the Aquapod hood. I am just starting out and am not sure if I plan on getting any SPS.

You really want to get lights from a reputable led retailer , I know what your thinking and with lights , if the price is too good to be true , than your gonna end up paying more for a lesson hard learned ! Trust me when I tell you , you get what u pay for

Quite an astute observation empire... Clearly, no one has ever had softies/LPS thrive in a 12 Gal without a $225 Kessil light.

Perhaps you should "reconsider" future comments if they hold no value to the topic of the thread.

I think everyone is missing the point of this thread, I was simply asking for input regarding the link/s I posted - Obviously, I would prefer top brand lights - but unless anyone has a used set for $150 I would like to find an alternative... Which I'm confident there is.

If this is the case either of those lights will do , the only issue you may encounter is the look once it's setup , try to get a pic of the lights over a currently set up tank and see how you feel about the spectrum

If I'm not mistaken, I've seen reviews for the first link on RC.

For a 12 G why not buy a par38? That should suffice for softies. Someone here was selling one for $40.

Correct , roycinus is selling 2 of em but one is gone and one left , jump on it
