I hear ya. I just setup a 5 gallon nano and the current orbit reef light does sunrise sunset. It's not as flexible as the more advanced lights like ai but it works for this tank. Plus it has thunderstorm and cloud cover. Lol. Check out the tank thread if you can. Always open to ideas ESP for a nano.

Very cool! Looking to get the brs combo back with the nuvo 20 gallon I believe. Is yours the 20 gallon? I know you said 16 but I'm here like.. Does he have the 20 and its 4 gallons for filter? Lol

Also how's your water change cycle.. How many gallons at how often?

No its the 16g. I do 5g water changes every two weeks. I removed one of the baskets and just put filterfloss and a bag of carbon that's all!

I am going to upload some updates now, took them while the lights were dimming down for the night. Maybe one day I will get home early enough!

Awesome pics. What's your secret to get such nice pic with LEDs?

No secret really, they have a few threads here about getting good photos with iphones and androids. You just need to use the manual setting.

But for mine im actually using a canon 6D, 100mm macro lens and some editing to get the best accurate image possible. However, you can still pull it off using just a phone (android), just set your phone to pro (manual), raise your K all the way to blue and try shooting but focus manually and shoot! Then edit to your liking and boom your done!

Man, every time I see a really cool Innovative Marine tank like this, I seriously consider downsizing. This is such a beautiful tank, practically right out of the box! And great photography to!

Keep it up!

Just added this little fella to the tank. Soon as I dropped him in he ran into the BTA, he hasn't moved since.
