This is my 18g nano at work. First attempt at a nano, so we'll see how it goes. All livestock was taken as frags from my 75g at home.

I was thinking about going w/ two firefish to add some red to the tank. But they will come a bit later. Also was thinking two peppermint and one cleaner to round out the invert population.

At first was having trouble seeing the refugium setup but now I think I get it---GREAT work nano tank. If I had one like that at my job, they wouldnt have to twist my arm to work overtime :) Really it is designed well and the rear lighting would run macro algae to take the place of skimming. In a tank that size macro is not even required, thats enough dilution/surface area to handle a couple small fish but the algae refugium sure would help to stabilize things over the long haul. About the only thing I would add is dont forget to dose the system, water changes arent enough IMO for the long term. Any two part additive, twice weekly would do the job great along with a little Dt's. Would love to have a tank like that!
