Started very very young

No, it was 300b send, but broken, so it only worked on 150b early 80's, very early 80's Ran a few text bbs's with friends...as well as the early file sharing boards :lol:

Sounds like my story ... I also ran a few BBS's from the early 80's until the mid 90's. A bit of my history on www.lizard.us

It's always a hard thing to describe to people that learned to type when the internet became popular in the late 90's.

Ain't nothing like BBS door games like trade wars, food fite, etc. and the old echomail systems like FidoNet. I started my own EchoMail network (I only had about 50 BBS's participate).

There are still some BBSes that you can access via telnet ...

Anyway, those were the good old days ... too bad it had to end, but thankful for the highspeed worldwide network and lower phone bills.
