Side note on that story. The man was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon(a pocket knife). How/why is that a crime? What is the law on carrying a pocket knife in NY? Is there a legal way to own and carry one on your person?
:tired: Jellyfish throwing is so 1990's. They should be lionfish throwing I heard there was an explosion of them somewhere.
RE the knife questions, please don't believe all the urban legend about 4 fingers etc. Then read the penal law and the city's administrative code it is clearly defined. The important question to ask is if it were a gravity knife as well. Oh, and the media always publishes the absolute complete and unbiased truth as well especially when it comes to the "innocent" little guy being arrested. I am sure he was an altar boy and an honor student too and was doing nothing wrong to deserve it either.
