Just wanted to apologize to everyone for not being able to upload and show you guys the stock we have in our tanks.... I currently have a sprained back and can barely walk or stand. Injured my back 10 years ago and never let it heal up... been having pain on and off but recently it hit me pretty badly. i've always just taken pain killers and work with a messed up back which is obviously not the answer... I'm not doing physical therapy... I've gotten quite a few emails asking if i was still around and just wanted to let you guys know the status of whats been going on the last few weeks. I promise as soon as i'm able to stand and move around I will start uploading more goodies... thanks for your support!

hey alex, take it easy and rest up. you need to find out what type of back pain you have.....whether it's nerve, muscular, skeletal, etc. so you can pursue the corrective measures.
i have had back pain on and off for over twenty years from contact sports injuries and heavy lifting. i have been to orthopedist, neurologist, chiropractor, sports-medicine, physical therapist, personal trainer, masseuse, korean blood letting, some other weird quackeries in pursue of relieve.
i may have found the right combo in the last 9 years. it's been a combination of acupressure massages, stretches, heat therapy, back brace, no heavy lifting, tempurpedic bed and a massaging chair/lounger. i hardly have any more episode of incapacitating pain.
gl. hope you feel better soon.

For what it's worth, my fiance works as a Physicians Assistant to a very good spine doctor (Dr. Vaynman) in Rockville Center. Here's the website:

Let me know if you are interested. If he is not taking new patients, I'm sure I could get you in. Always willing to help out a fellow reefer!

good luck with your back buddy. i recently had a fusion on my lower back. just about 5 months ago and i still hurt :( god got the design of a human back all wrong

I've been considering this for some time. Was it worth it? I have degenerative disk disease between my 4/5. I've been able to barely suppress the pain using anti inflammatories but some days are still just unbearable. Just curious what your experience with the surgery has been like.
