Their all getting it from same supplier. But the difference is CA selling it a lot cheaper. Problem with this people now go to CA and paid half the price and than very likely to sell it and make a profit. Hope hobbies get it's before a vendor...

how do u know they are that much cheaper if there prices are not listed ? i have been to both places and max reef corals are not that cheap like there fish..i would say he is the same as AV on the coral prices.and it also depends on who u talk to at max reef...the day i went to max reef same coral 2 different prices (by $50 difference) didnt buy and wont go back for that reason... please dont start a crap thread how great they are it all depends who u are in Max reef. IMO......

LMAOOOOOOO !!!!!!!Let's not start the crap of saying Its all depend on who you ARE!!! !ALL LFS ARE GREAT AND ARE TRYING THERE BEST TO GIVE THE RIGHT PRICE TO THERE REEFERS!! Yes we buy from the same supplier .. Yes we sale cheaper then all store!! Last time A CUSTOMER WENT maybe I was not working that day, so he was not lucky enough to get a great price, maybe that's why you herd 2 different prices , maybe the 2 guys that work only Saturday and Sunday din't know the actual price and got confuse ,I personally can't work all 7 days!
I always laugh when I read tread of people saying things that don't even goes .but who's going to stop that ( no one ,,just keep it coming for the community be safe, I love this) is not going to solve the problem of a LFS,
I wish I could work every day for all reefers goes home happy ,but I can't I love my son and wife so i need my days off to give them there special moment in LIFE,
Edwin is one of are great workers , always calling me if he need help with prices on my day off ,Mike is the new guy ( he still learning are crazy prices) great guy he knows his things!,
And im Nelson the one that run the company with (you know who) !! and don't think twice to get rid of a coral or a fish!!!

Hey guys we do this for a hobby , we are trying are best ,waking up every mourning standing with are feet 9 hrs of work for you guys have the best reef or FOWLR tanks .
We know you guys use MR to help others with problems etc. I be reading everybody post or tread is all about helping and making new friend .. I started working in September 2013 in MAX REEF and my friendship has grown 10 times . I dint know that the reef community has millions of great people ,TODAY I still go to others LFS they welcome me and treat me with respect not because I work in Max reef is because how loyal , respectful , great guy I am to them!!sometime I paid for things that are mark high then next day price drop ? why ?let me ask the manager.
So for me to go to a store and look at the bad not at the good things they have done for me or you and then come to MR talk about that store (I'm not talking about MAX ,i seen max getting bash I seen tread that are BASH TIME FOR other stores) I THINK IS NOT A GREAT IDEA BUT FOR OTHERS IS A GREAT IDEA. So keep it up!!!

So to are GREAT REEFERS doors are open today from 12pm-5pm

was in today, alot of nice stuff still there some crazy orange and green rhodacy shroons and other nice stuff. i do laugh when people talk about not being as cheap as they use to be, well more over head causes a slight rise in pricing, as well as gas, milk and bread dont cost what they did a few years ago, this will always be my favorite fishstore

SPS prices Central Aquariums was $25- $35 and other places starting at $39-$49 and other store $69. If you read the prices are mention. Not to hard especially if you go there and see for your Self. That's how I know.

CA not a bad fish store, sent a few friends over there and they all thought the place was closed. I know there going threw some legal issues with the name of the old, but come on guys put up a sign that says open or aquarium anything. They have a good selection of fish and good prices , but you MUST watch some of the fish have ich. They do move alot of fish and do not quarantine and if they do its only for a day or two. There customer service needs a lot of help, they need to put price on the tanks. Customers always like to see how much they are paying instead of asking for a price every two seconds. I hope it last but my prediction with the new store in the Bronx they wont be able handle the load of both stores..

Is not a bad store at all like all LFS not bad been every where!!
They still open.
No legal issue just change of name of store.
To put a OPEN sign they need permission or Need to file to the city of Yonkers .
Great selection of fish and best price.
I was there today dint see any fish with no ick . Any sick fish they take them to the basement to get treat of any kind if decease ..
How shore you are they don't quarantine there fish. Have you been there when new fish come in or have you ask how many days they had the fish on the basement?
What was wrong with the costumer service ?
The front row on the fish have prices second row manager erase because new fish came in..
They are going to last I was talking to the owner and he said more store going to be open in the TRI STATE AREA..
and your prediction is not going to happen The owner knows his stuff I know him since they started this business in mount Vernon an his plans are big!!
