DEAD ON ARRIVAL POLICY:
If your new purchase arrives DOA, let us know within the hour of arrival
Please email us photo of the specimen, on a piece of paper, paper towel, or anything similar (out of water).
Do not throw away the order until directed by us.
Also include any relevant information such as, but not limited to, package condition, water temperature or anything else that may have impacted the health of your marine life. Then you may let us know if you'd like your money refunded or kept as store credit. Shipping costs are not refunded.
14 DAY GUARANTEE:
If your order does not survive 14 days from time of arrival please contact us by email as soon as possible. Please email us photo of the specimen on a piece of paper, paper towel, or anything similar (out of water). The photo is necessary to receive credit. Do not throw away the order until directed by us.
You will receive store credit or replacement of your order. Shipping costs are not refunded
The 14 day guarantee carries the following conditions:
"Advance/Expert" only fish/invertebrates come with a live arrival guarantee only. Do to their delicate nature and care, it does not allow us to offer the 14 day guarantee.
"Corals" come with a live arrival guarantee only. Do to their delicate nature and care it does not allow us to offer the 14 day guarantee
? Items that have been damaged due to the nature of your tank are not covered, such as, but not limited to, aggressive fish and other pre-existing conditions.
? Shipping costs are not included.
? Failure to accept package on first delivery attempt voids both Live Arrival and 14 Day Guarantee.

Hot Reef is one of New York's largest sellers of exotic saltwater aquarium fish, corals, anemones and anything aquatic that you can imagine. We bring a lifetime commitment to exotic marine life for collecting and display. You'll see it in our aquarium knowledge, our choice ofproducts and in the health of our tropical fishand other marine life. Our warehouse is a whopping 5,000 sq/ft and contains 9,000 gallons of water that serves as a home for our exotic aquatic friends. Our knowledgeable staff will walk you throughout the store and will gladly assist you with any questions you may have.
Services:
We provide fish tanks maintenance, delivery and house pick up. In Store we also have a separate section where we build customized tanks, sumps, canopies and stands.
Livestock:
Our priority is to provide the highest quality of fish and coral for our customers. Once we receive our fish, they are slow acclimated and then quarantined to insure the best health for customer purchase. Any Unhealthy fish arrivals do not make it to the shop floor. Additionally, we have an insurance policy which is under the FAQ section of this website.

We offer a large variety of fish and coral food, all types of dry goods (reverse osmosis systems, water pumps, all types of lighting, wave makers, return pumps, medicine for fish, coral glue, heaters, pre made saltwater, salt mix, chemical reducers, test kits and much much more.
