I am actually certified in CCNA and for those who do not know that means Cisco Certified Network Administrator.

I studied the field in college Clink51 has mentioned and thats where this idea sprouted from.

Clink51 is on par with our exact objective of this mission.

That mission is simple:

Offer "a seasoned reefer to be there for any level reefer"

that is the same goal fortune 500 companies do when they go to get cloud computing power to scale their business. They ask a seasoned network expert to create and monitor what they need.

As a reefer, when we started out we all dreamed of having these fully automated super tanks but then sadly its hard to afford or setup correctly.

Standard 8 outlet Apex the $550 one. Any additional probes or modules can be added

We take the price of what ever you may also need (more strips salinity probe ecotech modules) then divide it over 10 months as well. So just tack on a few more dollars if you want to work your way to the Gold package basically or larger

just the $200 flat rate. that gets you the custom mounting and wire hiding, and fill programming help with the apex and your actual network so you can access the APEX remotely

From the sounds of it, this option would cost you $200 for the install then the costs of what ever probs you're adding split over 10 months

Maybe I'm special. I've been in touch with brad(reef lobster) on multiple occasions since this thread was started. In fact we are working on a day that is good for both of us. A person willing to travel all the way up here(2 1/2-3 hours at least) to help out a fellow reefer is ok in my book. Yes granted its a business but even before I decided to go with the apex and have him install it he was willing to come all the way up for the free consultation that he offers. When everything is started I will start a thread from beginning to end. Wish I would of did this in the beginning so everyone can see how I progressed and degressed over the years.
I would say just give him time and be patient. Business is in the beginning stages. I also know he is having a issue with his phone. Don't know if it's fixed or not yet
If anything doesn't materialize I will be one of the first to let everyone know and give my honest opinion. We shall see. How soon I can't tell you but within the next 2 weeks or less.
