Open hours have been getting shorter and less frequent and there has been no stock in the shop for months. Not sure what they are doing here.

Not being evasive at all. We are, indeed closed temporarily, while the renovation goes on. 
As mentioned in previous threads, we are focusing more on our service department but making progress on re-opening the retail store.
