Anyone have any experience in how long of fallow period could be necessary after Brook

I went fallow for 60 days
Bare bottom
Live rock stayed

Put black molly in and it developed a white spot

I’ll try and find a picture of the original fish that I thought had Brook

What could survive a 60+ day fallow period

Temp was 77-78

I install and maintain aquariums

I picked up this account which was not being run well. The salinity was very low, so low corals and rock looked like garbage. I just figured whoever ran it didn’t pay attention to water quality thus the low salinity. Now I realize they were probably using hypo to keep parasite in check.

I brought the salinity up to NSW over a month and then lost 50% of fish in 24 hrs

I removed remaining fish, gave them multiple freshwater dips and cycled them to new quarantine setups after each dip

All remaining fish in quarantine are now healthy and happy
I’ve introduced new fish into quarantine and they also healthy, showing no parasite

What could be in this tank?

I thought Brook because of the symptoms I saw and the quickness in which it got to
The fish gills

Thanks!

I suppose that could be Brook on the molly.

It looks like the white growth is protruding outward. Is any mucous or slime peeling off the molly?

No slime on molly

Only white spot on molly
Almost lymphocystis like

Brook would show in the form of slime/mucous, rapid respiration on molly same as it would saltwater fish?

Is 60 days fallow enough for Brooklynella?
