I was on the roof and just caught a few shots of the fireworks around ,I have to say im very disappointed ,4th of july is not what it us to be
I remeber when i was younger ,25 to 30 years ago .man you didnt know which corner to look at ,,there was so many fireworks ,they closed streets ,block parties and the smell of fireworks ..

I was looking back and forth like a nt ,trying to find some fireworks.Finally someone in the school yard was shoot off some nice stuff but only 30 mins aparts i was great bored .Man those days are gone .the smell of the 4th in the air ,This 11pm now and its dead silent now

i was downtown w/ my girl last night and we kept hearing all this noise. we thought it was thunder and kept waiting for the rain to come down. then we realized it was the 4th.

it just isn't what it used to be. unfortunately dumb assholes kept getting injured w/ fireworks, you know the rest.

There's a lot less now because the cops are cracking down. Undercover cops were all over brooklyn yesterday. Once they see fireworks going off they would wait at the end of the block till you light another. I saw two guys get arrested yesterday. Sucks that one of them had nothing to do with it.
