Best POS Macro

I've been looking into POS cameras for macro. I'm not looking to get into DSLRs at this point, I don't have the time or energy for another hobby. I'm looking at a few Nikons including the Coolpix A (though the 4" macro isn't great). I just need something quick and dirty that's capable of real detail. I'm looking for informed opinions and/or experience.

I have a canon elf that does fantastic macros. You're welcome to come take a look one day if you desire.

cannon rebel its a slr (single lens reflex) its cheap easy to use and takes great macros and pretty much anything else you want to shoot but definitely not a "pos" lol

i have a coolpix its not for macro it barely take pictures of myself and family at social events thats a pos spend a little more cash its worth it
