how to take good pics?

This might be a very basic question but how do i get my pictures to look good when shooting my tank when the blues are on? the corals look amazing but it never translates in the pics. thanks for any help

A lot of people use dslr cameras with macro lens, I think.

I am guessing you have LEDs which makes it a bit more difficult to get a good picture if you don't have the right equipment.

I see some people also using macro lens on their iphone. There was a mod someone did where he used the lens from an old DVD player as a macro lens for his iphone.
