Macro Lenses for Canon G2

Anyone else have a G2? I love this camera except.... the macro mode is pretty poor - very pixellated with digital zoom so I am looking to get a macro lens for it. Anyone have any they have used or suggest a good online vendor.

I get ALL ALL ALL my camera stuff from B&H. Straight forward, honest dealer. And a good used department as well. (You can ask, "which one is better?" and they will actually tell you.) I don't think they work on comission, so they are there to sell you the best for your money. If you say your limit is $150, they don't try to sell you the $200 version.

Bingo, you sure they sell lenses for the G5?

Someone else recommended checking out lensmate.com They have some nice stuff for the G2/3.

Thanks for the reccomendations guys - going to do some research - I see all these amazing shots with nikons - I know the canon is not in that league but the macro feature could definitely be improved.

Yes. If it's anything photo, B&H will have it. (or get it for you)

First, you need the adapter tube LA-DC58,

then any 58 mm filters will fit. Like this kit from Tiffen.
