Woah, what the heck? I didn't get notified of any new posts to this thread. Sorry, SM didn't mean to ignore you. YES! I'm happy that you're visiting the photo forum. You being, of course, NOT an ugly nerd!

The Nikon Coolpix 4300 went for $499, plus accessories, when I bought it. Of course the price has come down $100 since then. :roll: I've also been tinkering with a borrowed Olympus C5050, which is a higher-grade camera, but honestly doesn't produce better images.

Thanks, guys. I will have more pics next week for sure. Just gotta find the time to go shoot!
