Hi All! Well I got a BTA a few months ago and now it is getting quite huge. It is as big if not bigger than a dinner plate and growing. A tomato clown has taken up residence in the BTA. I am hoping some day it may split!
You may have to wait until something in the tank stresses it... sudden temp salinity or other change for example. I have seen a rose BTA get to around 16" diameter when fully extended.
