So this means you manage your reef without the normal clean up crews? Because the Tusk would eat them, right? Tell us how you do this?

I am just curiuos, because I want one in my 300G.

I have a feeling this guy is going to be 'quasi-reef-safe'. He tore the hell out of my brittle star the first night in, but hasn't touched all the hermits or snails (or the couple corals, for that matter). I've kept tusks in reefs before and never run into any major problems. If you keep them well-fed, they recognize the difference between food and tankmates.
