Of course there is...
1) This is Grey market merchandise almost assuredly. US warranty will be handled by a company other than Canon USA.
2) If they work like many other NYC retailers, it will either be:
a) It is not in stock.
b) It is in stock, but will never be shipped unless you order tons of accessories you don't need.
c) Shipping charges will be really, really high, which is where they make their profit. i.e. $75...
No reason not to try though.
Just be sure that it is on a credit card you don't mind cancelling.
Personally, I tired of the games most of the NYC mail-order camera companies play, and have moved to B&H or Adorama for all my orders.
I am now a far, far happier picture taker...
(I did happen to visit B&H while in NY last weekend- Jeez, it is a completely insanely crazy mad-house!!! If I lived in Manhattan, I think I'd still mail order from them rather than going in person.)
