Yeah the cup was AWESOME! My buddy and I were at a bar (Kenedy's in Pontiac, MI) celebrating the start of the school year :roll: and in walks a former Wing with the guy who stays with the cup 24/7. I got to do everything with it but drink from it [althogh my Dad has before (jealous :evil: )]. We were asking what the craziest thing he's ever seen with it and he said "at the party at Kid Rocks house (which he lives right down the road, literally) the cup had seen things that need not be mentioned in public". Everybody who's had the cup has something crazy with it. Theres even a book about it. We love our hockey here in hockey town.
Althogh it hurts to say.... Congrats to the Devils...

I have sipped bubbly from the cup twice now at the after-party at the Cedar Grove Inn... which my friend's uncle owns...

It is the bar where the Devs all hang after home games.. and its the first place they party after a cup win...

I have had champagne many times.. but damn.. it never tastes as good as it does when sipping it from the old silver chalice...

Man I hate the devils! Although I gotta admit, I have a ton and a half of respect for Scott Stevens. Reminds me of a real hockey player--Mark Messier! :wink:

So what're the odds that the broadway blues will dump glass-skull-lindros, pick up jagr-meister, fit that magical missing piece into the frighteningly talented lineup they could have, and win the cup in '04?? Yeah I don't think so either. ::sigh:: :?
