On Golden Pond

Awesome pond!!! How do you keep it so clear? Is it shaded pretty well? Every summer my parents 900gal pond clouds up pretty bad from all this California sunshine (and from too many koi as well). Got anymore pics from different angles? I'd love to see some more.

Very nice Micah. Does it get cold enough there in Tenn for it to freeze up in the winter?

It stays pretty clear it has a good turn over rate per hour and the fact that it only has one koi in it. Another thing that helps is that is shaded all the time and the plants help out compete the algae. As far as getting cold enough to freeze, it stays mostly in the 30's during the winter here, but it has been known to get below 0 on occasion. It has never completly froze but I've had several ice chunks floating around.

Also thanks for the comments I'm pretty lucky in the landscaping catagory seeing as my stepdad owns a landscaping company that specializes in ponds and irragation systems.
