$300 to spend

With 300 to spend what camera should I get. Just had a new addition to the air breathing family and the wife wants a digtal.

Any help is appreciated!!~!

See if you can find a Nikon Coolpix... the 950, 990, or 995 are great cameras that you can take great pics on. Plenty for normal photo sized images if you want to print them too.

Ebay sometimes has great deals. Just keep in mind that you need batteries and a memory card (64+megs) as well.
