my mandarin spawning tank

they spawn almost nightly, i'm not attempting to raise the fry, perhaps some day i'll see a baby mandarin or two, probably not

Awesome. My pair spawned constantly (until I mussed things up and killed half my fish). From what I understand there's no real way to raise they fry as they are miniscule, but the eggs are also free ranging, so keeping those would be difficult too.

I do (did? haven't seen it in a week) have a male that was supposedly captive bred, the guy claims he has two that spawn weekly and have for 3 years and a full size was found in his sump not long ago. It had great color, but like I said, I haven't seen it in ages. I think my tomato clowns may have abused him.
