I got woken up at 8 am to this:

The fire got closer, they closed the streets, and everyone started evacuating like crazy!

Then the fire came!

Then the fire got too close and I had to evacuate. Then the power went out and my reef tank was pissed!

At about 4 pm the next day I got back to my place. Everything around my place was el charro! but my place was fine. And even more amazing.....my reef tank survived for 24 hours completely without power and any form of circulation. Now I am very tired. Hope you enjoyed the thread!

For some reason my strange sense of humor loved the donkey picture. (here are all these devistating fire images, oh yah we got donkeys too)

I thought it was really funny seeing all the animals in the streets too. There were parrots and pigs and donkeys and horses. Now the air is finally clear and I can walk outside without a mask on. +Sigh+ life goes back to normal.

Which fire were you by? I have friends in Rancho Cucamunga, and they too had fire come right upto their house.

I am glad to hear that both your house and tank are well.
