Not reef related...but it's fish related. The whitefish weren't biting, so I retired to taking pictures of what's left of this season's Chinook salmon spawn.
A common sight here on Lake Ontario beaches come spring. Most of them are partially sand-covered, and constantly washed by wave action. Occasionally you'll come across something more interesting, like a doe. All of them make for great abstract photo ops.
I had quite a few decent shots of bulls with the hooked snouts, but just posted this one. The bald eagles pretty much pick them clean around here. The stink starts to get to you after a while.
