I have a new anemone. I'd been kicking around the idea of adding a bubble-tip, and this little guy came through the lfs. Couldn't resist. :)

He's not as pretty as a rose, but I'm really hoping he keeps that two-tone look as he grows.

nice sharkky....How much light does a BTA need. Would one live in my tank with just 200 watts of PC? Probably not, right? What if I add one more 96 watt PC?

It's been a LOOOONNNNNGGGG while since I've kept a BTA, so I'm re-learning the wisdom of the BTA. There are probably others around here that could help better than I.

When I picked this guy up, he was fully open in the LFS tank, with pretty low lighting. When I put him in my 130, I put him right down on the substrate. He immediately (overnight) started pulling back under the rockwork to get a bit more shelter, but within 4 days or so he was beginning to darken and had stretched out to get more light. Luckily he's now attached to a small piece of rock that is easily movable, so I think I'm going to try shifting him up a bit higher here soon. He's also eaten nearly every day (little bits of diced prawn shrimp) over the past week and is now about double the size he was when I got him. :D

I'll try and get some more photos of him later today when the tank lights come on.

Oh, FWIW, I've got 4x72" VHO over the 130. What's the wattage add up to--something like just shy of 400w?
