Only things I'd say off the top are 1- clean the glass a little better, there are some smudges and 2- if you don't, then use a tripod... makes "darker" shots much more successful.
A good photographer has no need to photoshop images. While it can be a useful tool, teaching someone to lean on it is like teaching a kid to go to the candy store in an SUV.
I am not trying to make the guy a professional. Just trying to help an average joe schmo such as myself. My fiance says the same thing to me all the time. And I believe that every kid should go to a candy store in a SUV.
