Frogspawn buds

Got this picture last night... they'll either develop into buds or into new heads. Pretty cool.

I won't frag this one... if it drops buds, those can go to new homes, but I won't damage it by fragging. The skin literally goes to the sand on most branches.

I certainly could, but I won't. Whenever it starts to drop buds, I'll certainly start giving those away (it was actually a bud from a friend's tank itself).

I havew fragged a half a dozen or so of those little buds off my frogspawn. My frog grows so fast now that I wind up chopping the mother colony up about twice a year and trading the frags for a store credit. I usually get $75 for 6 months growth. The mother colony still looks great even after it is fragged. Once I counted 22 heads that were removed in one fragging. I still had at least that many left on the momma too! I love frogspawns because they look great, grow fast, and are popular with the LFS looking for captive reared frags.
