Did you ever try to take the pictures with underwater camera in the aquarium ?

I tested my camera Olympus C-7070 and underwater case PT-27 , so I took few picture under water in my aquarium.

I am very satisfiead with those pictures. Colors are very good, acctually colors are the same as in the reality.

I do the same with my olympus 5050 and housing... I actually get considerably clearer pictures than through my scratched up and reflective acrylic. You can really do well with not just macro, but for large depth of field shots (since there's no refraction or loss or bending of light).

A couple of examples can be found in this dir on my site:

out of curiosity how do you take such clear pictures?? don't you normally have to keep the camera VERY steady? Or are those taken with a flash?

4x 400W metal halides burning while taking the pictures helps alot. It actually creates brighter images than through the front glass... at least in my tank/setup.

BTW Bojan nice pics!
