having trouble posting pics

Need help posting pics!!! Apparently the file must be too big because I click browse, find pic, type comment and click add attachment - computer then takes approx ten minutes and eventually says file error. Tried it with multiple pics. Is there any way to decrease size of file because all my pics are much larger than 256K. PLEASE HELP! see everyone elso posting pics and I want to too!

Well if they are BMP files try saving as JPG files, if they are already JPGs they might be too big if they were taken with a large megapixel camera (heck I think 3MP produces 300+K photos). You have two options,
\
Option 1: shrink the photo yourself, easiest way if you have a Windows based computer, go into MS Paint (programs/accessories/paint) open the file then shrink (stretch) the photo, control-W pops that window up, try shrinking it down 50%/50% at first and check the size.

Option 2: Don't shrink the photo, just upload it to another site (www.imageshack.us is an example of a free image hosting site), then at the bottom it'll show a URL (the very last box) just copy and paste that into your message. and put [ img] [ /img] on either side of it (without the space) example [ img]http://www.imageshack.us/blah/blah/0348.jpg [ /img]
