I have that same camera (sony cybershot 8.1 meg pix) and I can't seem to get good pics. Please share your settings that you use. Thanks.

My camara is set on the auto focus feature, but when i take pictures of corals i use the macro feature, which is the flower icon on the right side of the display screen, then i press the middle buton on the macro feature which will not let you zoom in so corals need to be somwhat close to your tank walls, aside from that you can use the macro feature with zoom but, it will not focus if you zoom to close. Hope this helps, if you have other questions just let me know!!
