Here are some pictures from my old 54g bow before I moved. This tank did awesome for nearly two years, then I had a major crash and lost almost every piece of coral in two days.

I think a flame scallop died behind the rock and polluted the tank. I tried to move stuff to my other tank, but a lot of it just didn't make it. Didn't know about flame scallops back then, oops.

Hey, I have a flame scallop and I've been reading about it online, no one ever mentioned that it's harmful for a reef tank. You sure this is the reason your tank got polluted?
Any other opinions?

From what I have read flame scallops require lots of "liquid" type foods to remain alive in the tank. I had two in the tank and they did good for a while, but I think one died and then the other. Since I rarely saw them I had no clue. I had some delicate stuff in the tank that went really quick. I think it was a combination of half the corals kickin the bucket at once. I had changed nothing in the tank for months before this occured.
