hey everyone im getting my FIRST MACRO LENSE....

i need some advise.....

lense 1Sigma 55-200mm DC Lens Macro Accessory Kit Canon XSI XS

or

lense 2Sigma 18-50mm Lens Macro Accessory Kit Canon XSI XS 40D

I can't even vote on this. Those two lenses are totally different man in terms of usage distance. It'll come down to how close you can get to the object to shoot.

Neither of those lenses are "true macro" lenses.

the links show a lens with macro lens covers...not a true macro lens...the cheapest i seen for true macro lenses were way over $400 mark

Personally i would not buy either.

I just bought a canon 40D 28-15mm kit and although the camera says macro and i can take decent macro pictures they still do not compare to pictures taken with a true 100mm Macro lens.
