I'd say a 4 ft tank is ideal (so around 75g) unless it's a dedicated tank for these fish or these fish are the first ones in and established.

Males $150, submales $120, females $100. I have 1 female, 2 sub males, and 2 males. Males sport a vibrant red dot on the tail and part of dorsal has red (front or back of dorsal depending on location variant)

I have seen a few of these in person, those pictures don't even do these fish justice. They might be the most brightly colored fish you can buy. Those are good prices as well.

Rod's food, chopped mysis, and frozen cyclopeaze. 3 times a day during the week and as many as 5 times on the wknds when I'm around. They came in really skinny.

I see, any chance you can mix in some pellets with the frozen to get them to eat that too?

Of course it's a matter of time. Their primary diet should be frozen meaty food to help them build body fat.
