Well, I hope I am right in saying that my fish are doing OK. I have invested heavily into this hobby RODI, custom refugiums, sumps, etc... My next purchase will be LED's but, presently I am looking for a new clean up crew and inverts. I have no corals just 80lbs. of LR in my 54 gallon corner. My sump is probably an additional 20 gallaons. Recommendations??? I appreciate the visual appeal that large snails and crabs provide too. What Shrimp are recommended? I only have 1 coral banded in there. Thanks, in advance.

You would want a variety of snails and hermits to keep your sand, rocks and glass clean of algae. Crabs - you must be sure to learn about the different types of crabs and be sure of the identification before you purchase them. Many folks do not keep crabs in their tanks as part of a CUC.

Unfortunately the addition of a coral banded shrimp will preclude you from having the usual clean up crew of cleaner shrimp in the tank (or peppermints, or Harleys) as the CBS will kill them.

Check in our Vendor section as many of our vendors have CUC specials -for one - Reef Cleaners (John Maloney) is a great person for info on CUC packages tailored to your tank :)

You could also post a 'Want To Buy' post for a CUC as many of our vendors read that forum to see who wants to buy what :)
