Cleaning Crew Ideas?

So I'm into week two of my Biocube 14 cycle and starting to get my first diatom bloom. Not too concerned as I've read enough to know it's likely just part of the cycle.

My question is, when is the right time to introduce a cleaning crew and what would you recommend?

Please consider that I still have no fish or coral (just live rock and live sand) and don't intend to add any for at least a month, given the tank is ready.

You can get a specific cleaning crew from reef cleaners for your tank. They are a vendor here.

Watch out for crabs. Even the reef safe ones. Every crab is predatory when hungry.
Nassarius are great scavengers and a good assortment of snails are great.
If you go through reef cleaners get some macro algae. That is a great sponge for a lot of waste products.

So do you think it's a good time to use a cleaning crew? Just don't want to put them in prematurely.

If your Ammonia and Nitrite levels are zero there should be no problem introducing a clean up crew as long as the cycle spikes are done. A mix of hermit crabs and algae eating snails would be a good start, once you have fish introduced you can get cleaner shrimp which are great.
