Aquarium Controllers.....

I'm not sure which one i want to buy so I'm putting it out to you guys ... I like the Neptune Apex Aquacontroller and the Reef Keeper Elite.. Which one is better from your experience or which do you prefer? I'd like to consider everything from product performance to upgradeability to price to company customer service..... everything!! I greatly thank you guys in advance for your help !!!

I like the Apex. They seem to come out with updates faster. It has been working great for me for about a year.

When this question is asked I normally hear that digital aquatics (reefkeeper) have horrible customer service. That alone would deter me.

I have the Neptune Apex and had excellent support when I was asking each about why I should buy one over the other. Got an immediate response from Neptune and no response from the other guys. Then when I looked at the response the bus on the neptune is more sophisticated and more easily upgraded. Because the technology is newer, better customer service, and the Neptune comes integrated with the ability to communicate over the web, I am glad I choose the Neptune Apex. Ive have it managing my tank for 2 years now.

Not true. I had some issues with setting up my ALC for my LEDs on the RKL so I had to call customer service almost every day for 2 weeks. It was the same guy 90 % of the time and he helped out a lot and answered all my questions and walked me through everything I needed step by step.
