Hello fello reefers im thinking of collecting (3) flasher wrasses and (1) fairy wrasse and there all reef safe too. But my question is if all of them can be kept-ed together in my 55G.

This are my following choices i have in mind.

1.Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse
2.McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
3.Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse

there are many other fairy wrasses you could include. The whipfin ime just happens to be suprisingly chippy for a fairy wrasse. Potters wrasse do not have a great record in captivity and are among the more difficult of the leopard wrasse species. Also, is your tank TIGHTLY coovered? Flashers and fairies are wicked jumpers. It isn't a question of if, but when.

The flashers will be fine together, the whipfin can be a bit rough for a fairy wrasse, I'd reconsider that one.

there is no guarentee that any wrasse will get along with other's, and even if they do they can have mood swing and harrass the crap out of another wrasse, never put a 6 line in with any fairy/flasher wrasse, the dusky can get to 6"+ and is a picker, so it will hunt for food all day eating pods ect. and a covered tank is a must if you plan to keep fairy/flashers, love the yellow coris species especially as they get to adult size the coloring on the face is awesome
