jkidd155...first thing I would do is buy a good book or two on reef aquariums and read them cover to cover. Take your time and go slow to give the tank a good chance at success.

So many things come into play with reef aquarium that would probably be ignored in other tanks. Lighting, filtration, skimmers, water chemistry, water testing, types of coral and the specialized equipment that is all unique to reefs is intricate and expensive.

Go look at other tanks that are set up already and see what other people are running on theirs. This will give you a decent idea what your getting into. Remember that there are many ways to do things and you have to choose a way that works for you. I mean that operationally in your setup and financially in your wallet. Ask questions on these forums and search for questions that others have undoubtedly had before you and you will save yourself time and money down the road.

what 2 do

took my tempature 2day with a digital tempature n it was 84.5 how can i get it 2 at least 78 degrees i also took my phosphate reading n it was n between 0 n 0.25 the color was n between both of them i have a clown fish 2 candy annemones 1 leather and some pollys i have a 72 bowfront my lighting is a solar extreme with t5s it has 4 bulbs on it n a timer on it i think my lights r bringing the tempature up how should i program the lights 2 come on n off
