How often i have to put carbon in the bag-tank?

I dont know if this really matters but i have a deep blue 57 gal rimless running a skimmer,sump with filter sock-bag and caron.

You should get a reactor to run carbon in, not just throw it somewhere in a bag randomly in the sump. Replace once a month no matter where or how you use it though.

+3..def use a reactor as you will get more bang for your buck..BUT def change it out often..approx 1 month ish or so..

I have used a carbon media bag for over a year with no problems (knock on wood). You have to change it once a month like everyone else says. Maybe when I go bigger I will get the reactor.
